Learn and Play Preschool

Hello Parents,

My name is Deanna Barnes and I am the director and teacher at Learn and Play Preschool. In August 1991, I opened Learn and Play Preschool and have been in business for over 30 years now! I love my job teaching and caring for young people, I have a TON of hands-on experience and a background in child-development and psychology. 

A child's preschool years should be filled with tremendous growth across all disciplines of development as they prepare for kindergarten with independence, knowledge and confidence.

We have a very happy and positive classroom environment, bonded friendships and a great group of students that make up our class.

I am a mom to three terrific kids-- my daughter (working on her MBA) and two sons; one a sophomore at Baylor University and the other a freshman at UTSA. My personal interests are reading, dancing, racquet sports, learning more about whatever piques my interest, nutritional health, being outside, hiking and working on my home.
